Scholar of the First Sin es la nueva versión de DARK SOULS II que incluirá mejoras gráficas y de desempeño, nuevos emplazamiento de los enemigos, el nuevo invasor Forlorn, mayor capacidad para el modo multijugador y otras mejoras del gameplay. También incluirá los tres DLCs de Dark Souls II (Crown of the Sunken King, Crown of the Old Iron King, y Crown of the Ivory King).
